SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions apply to the workplace SMS messaging program operated by Mensch & Mejicanos Inc., operating Causwells (“Causwells”).

Program Description

The Causwells SMS program provides employees with workplace-related operational communications. Messages may concern scheduled shifts, attendance, late arrivals, missed clock-outs, timekeeping, meal and rest break verification, unscheduled clock-ins, shift coverage, and other employment-related operational matters.

Employees may also be asked to respond to messages to confirm their status or provide information related to scheduling or timekeeping.

The SMS program is not used to send marketing or promotional messages.

Consent

Employees participate in the SMS program only after affirmatively consenting to receive workplace-related text messages at the mobile number they provide.

Consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of employment.

Employees are responsible for providing an accurate mobile number and for notifying Causwells if that number changes.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on workplace circumstances, including scheduling, attendance, timekeeping, and employee responses.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Employees should consult their mobile carrier regarding their individual messaging or data plan.

Opt-Out

Employees may reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. After an opt-out request is processed, no further messages will be sent through the SMS program unless the employee subsequently provides valid consent again.

Help

Employees may reply HELP for assistance with the SMS program or contact Causwells management through the normal workplace communication channels.

Carrier Availability

SMS delivery is subject to mobile carrier and network availability. Mensch & Mejicanos Inc. and participating mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Information collected through the SMS program is handled according to the Causwells SMS Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

Mensch & Mejicanos Inc. may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
